Melissa Capps plays an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of the back office at Adalant. Her day-to-day responsibilities include making appointments, scheduling, filing, tracking and following up. Melissa's follow-up and follow-through allows clients' paperwork to flow through the practice efficiently, and for the partners to maintain their fast-paced schedules.
Melissa, who joined Adalant after working in the banking sector, truly enjoys her new role. "I like the atmosphere, the flexibility, the people, everything…" she admits. "It's a great working environment, where you really feel that your opinion matters - because it does," says Melissa. She also appreciates how much she has been able to learn about insurance and financial services in general. "My job requires a lot of patience, and the ability to absorb and retain large amounts of information," she says. "I'm working on it!"
Born and raised in Emmett, Melissa is happy to call the small town home. She and her husband have two young children. When she is not at work, Melissa can be found participating in a variety of sports - from running outdoors to cycling and kickboxing.
